Some of India’s most iconic platforms — like the Tejas fighter jet, the Arjun Main Battle Tank, and the BrahMos missile — are proof that we have the talent and tenacity to deliver world-class systems. And now, the focus is shifting to next-gen technologies: quantum security, directed energy weapons, advanced materials — areas where India’s future defence edge will be defined.
But true self-reliance goes beyond just manufacturing. It’s about creating a complete ecosystem — from research and design to testing, production, and deployment. This is where public and private sectors are coming together, with organisations like DRDO, BEL, HAL, and emerging defence companies joining forces to build a resilient, future-ready foundation.
