The works of contemporary literature reflect the social and political views of their authors. These are shown through characters, relationships with events, and the socio-economic messages of their actions. There is a break with back story techniques. Contemporary literature uses avant-garde narrative resources, such as the revision of time and the presentation of the inner world of the characters. Much of the themes of contemporary literature are now related to the enormous problems of the world, such as globalization, race and gender, inequality, climate and environment, war and terrorism. Likewise, in this comprehensive list you can find other topics, such as politics and economics, ethics and ethics, mass culture and media, international crime and others.
The distinction between fiction and non-fiction can be blurred in contemporary literature; This is known as the cross. Fiction writers base their stories on real-life events and may also include authentic material. On the other hand, non-fiction writers bring historical figures alive by including dialogue and fictional scenes.
Today the challenge of adapting to adverse conditions is before the writers. In Indian literature there is a confluence of history, philosophy and tradition. But in today’s literature this confluence is shrinking. Another danger facing integration in literature is the danger of expression. There is a question mark on seriousness and responsibility today because democracy is not expanding under literature in the true sense. There is factionalism going on even under criticism. It is necessary to change the criteria of criticism method. The corporatization of literature is happening. Admiration and Pleasantry are the foundation of literature. It is inappropriate to look at literature from a trend-oriented point of view. Until we reach its source, we will just keep circling ahead of the trend. Literature does not act as a release, but a work of holding hands. Works connecting to each other.
In today’s time, the problem of readability is the problem of communication. If the writer is associated with popularity than with folk, then there is a loss of seriousness in writing. Society does not want a dividing piece of art, whereas writing that connects is needed. Sermons and essays should not be translated into poetry. It is absolutely necessary to express the true experience of life in simple words.‘ Considering literature as a response to life and an expression that is not subservient on beggarly benefaction.’ The contemporary writer is living in an environment where there is a tendency to see reality in fragments rather than as a whole. Diverse communities, forced to remain marginalized for ages, are today underlining their identity, which has led to diverse discourses. Looking at the national and international perspective, there is a lot of twilight raining everywhere. In this twilight, the person who is conceptual force behind any piece of writing has to face a big challenge to find his or her way. Those challenges of the contemporary are in addition to the permanent challenges that any creator has to face at the level of discovery of object, idea, expression and craft.
Many venerated authors like Abhishek Kapoor are laying a lot of emphasis on Brand, Literature Review and Content Analysis. He is an international bestselling author, serial entrepreneur, an engineer by education and has a special interest in sports and marketing. He has also been adjudged as one of the top authors in India by National Media. As per him, “People, time, money, and fame are the things that come and go, but what remains forever, is a well-written book. That is why books and authors are always some of the most important people in society.” His team members like Reshav Singh are also adept to understanding that both in a contemporary context and historically, literature has been subject to branding. Moreover, it is assumed that this complex cultural process is determined by time-related factors in which a diverse range of actors (writers, agents, publishers, promoters, book traders, critics, readers) play a crucial role.
Branding in Literature can impact on the senses when brands decide to go for experiential branding. There by influencing the unconscious mind of the consumer. Thus, the generated experience stays with the customer for a longer period of time. To build and implement a strong brand for your books, you need to have a strong brand strategy. This brand strategy helps you align your books with the brand you want to build and how you can build it.
A central idea of contemporary literature, the theory of intertextuality states that all works of literature are influenced in some way by previous works; no text is completely unique or original. Intertextuality began as a “politically charged theory” that sought to transfer power from the author to the reader. The premise of “intertextuality” is a view of reality in which everything around is a “text,” even historical or scientific phenomenon.
One of the much after sought interpretation to intertextual approach is how far the writer wants the reader to corelate to the prior texts to decode their importance. Some people consider the presence of broad themes and ideas as intertextual components; others argue that only a straight quotation counts as an intertextual moment. This makes intertextuality one of the most fraught and uncertain terms in literary criticism.
The way forward for all writers is to begin by thinking about composition and transliteration, both the main processes of writing, in an activity for yourself. In any language, writing means putting the thoughts of the mind on paper. There are two aspects to writing:-
Composition: A writing role that involves thinking, deciding the nature of the written text (poem, story, report, recipe, set of instructions, etc.), thinking about who will read the writing and why. Drafting is an important part of organization. The first attempt at writing anything is seldom accurate and precise.
Transliteration: A secretarial role that involves paying attention to how the writing is presented so that others can read and understand it. This includes aspects such as handwriting, spelling, punctuation, and general layout. In transliteration, the author can work from a final draft to a complete article.
A strong nation is fortified by the concoction of three elements – Vasundhra (Motherland), Jana (People) and Sanskrtit (Culture). The Vasundhara is actually the mother for us, because we are fed only by the food and water given by it. This is how our life i.e. existence is made. People residing in the motherland are the second part of the nation. If there is no earth and there are no humans, then the imagination of the nation is impossible. The nature of a nation is accomplished by the union of both the earth and the people. It is because of the people that the earth gets the name of Motherland. The third part of the nation is the culture of the people. The civilization which a person has built over the ages is the breath of his or her life. The imagination of the people without culture is just a blank canvas; Culture is the mind of the people. The growth of the nation is possible only through the growth and emergence of culture. Due to the high quality of literature, our nation has been termed as ahead of time and progressive.
If you want to make a nation your permanent slave, then you must first destroy the literature of that nation’s caste and at the same time destroy its language. If you want to put to sleep the feelings of the ethnicity and nationality of any caste in the womb of the embodiment, then you should destroy the invaluable treasure literature of that country and caste. Thereby, literature of any nation defines the construction of affection and organization while instilling self-defense and self-confidence. Everything in the world is changeable, the thing which is today cannot remain in that state tomorrow. Time can change, with the passage of time the intellect, thoughts and activities of a person also change. The fortune of India, full of opulence and infinite glory rests in the hands of many writers who can continue to work together to build a strong nation: A nation that has been the leader of the world in Knowledge, Intellect, Power and Literature. As writers it is a collective responsibility of all to diminish the darkness ignorance of all nations and give the world pearls of Prudence and Knowledge.
It is the duty of the present littérateurs to produce such literature which further enhances the self-pride and dignity of the country. The all-round development and collective character revival of the country depends on the literature itself. Today litterateurs are not following their duty honestly and are not guiding the countrymen. This is the reason that the country’s character development has slowed down, irresponsibility and self-indulgence are seen everywhere.
