Today we are talking about Himshekhar Konwar, an Entrepreneur who found his passion in fitness, and how he and his team is building NECMERactive, a fitness brand meant for both competitive athletes and busy professionals who want effective results fast.
Himshekhar Konwar is in his mid 20s and his dream is to establish an omnipresent fitness brand that can be accessible online as well as offline around the globe. Himshekhar in his teenage years till his early 20s has started several business ventures spanning in professional services, fashion and hospitality but he proudly admits he failed in all of them. But that’s what we love about this entrepreneur because while most would have given up on their dreams Himshekhar kept trying and failing fast because he knows it clearly that all the experiences both good and bad count. Like Steve Jobs once said, “You can connect the dots only looking backwards”, Himshekhar has put this theory to test and he seems to have found amazing results doing just that.
All his early experiences seem to be paying off as his one-year-old fitness brand, NECMERactive, has been welcomed and loved by people in all age groups especially those who want effective results fast. We asked Himshekhar to tell us more about his brand and we were stunned by his vision for his company, “NECMERactive started as a fitness studio in my hometown with a vision to provide science-backed workout programs and a safe space for people of all age groups to workout in. While most workout programs out there are bogus and google copy pasted, we wanted to be different and actually spend time studying the science behind each exercise and creating safe and effective workout programs that could deliver results fast. We are proud that we could stick to our promise and give amazing results to more than 450 clients within our first year of business. Seeing these amazing results we stepped up and started organising classes online for people from US, UK and other states of India and we are proud to say that even with our online programs people have gone through some amazing body transformations. The next big goal for us is to launch our IOS and Android app on January 2022 where we will provide on demand video workout programs for Strength & Conditioning, Body- Building and Yoga to start with and give access to our workout programs to people all across the globe at price points lesser than their local fitness studios.”
